This weekend we dined at Stack House in Dallas. It's down the street from Tameca's yet we've never been. It is located at an intersection so a bit of an awkward location, pretty sure we broke some traffic rule pulling in but we made it!

This is clearly a burger joint, with a bar and small eatery. There is also an outdoor area where you can eat on the side of restaurant and dining on the rooftop w/ a view! The interior has cool look, chalkboard menu and fun decor. Dress code if you need one... casual my friends!

What did I have to eat?.....I had to have their burger of course! I ordered their single 6oz. patty w/lettuce, tomato and pickle, hold the onions please and of course fries too, I also tried the house margarita (frozen)! You place your order at the counter, get your number and find a seat! It's about the food and company here people!

I have to say I had a blast and my hamburger was delicious, the bun had a sweet taste (the sweeter the better)! Tameca stole one of my pickles off my burger but never fear there are two!  The margarita definitely made everything better too! Tables are close so the guy next to us definitely got an ear full from our conversation, which may have sent him home shocked.... The alcohol was clearly talking!

You still have a waitress that brings you your order you placed at the counter and checks on you, she was polite but other than that I don't remember her! (I don't drink very often so cut me some slack) anyways tip when you place your order or leave some cash folks!

I will definitely be back when it warms up and I plan to eat on the rooftop while looking at the city!

This past weekend we tried Stack House.  Nice quaint burger joint in Southeast Dallas.  It is set inside an old house.  Real casual and laid back environment.  Ordering is done at the counter.  You have your choice of looking at the menu written on the wall in chalk or picking up a menu.  Me of course choice the chalk wall.  My friend, she needed a menu!

First things first!  I ordered the $5 House Margarita.  It was superb.  I was pleased with the size as well.  They were also generous with the Tequila.  Usually, I can go for seconds on my Margarita but this time I stopped at one.

For my meal I chose the Griddled Cheese.  Which is just a fancy grilled cheese sandwich.  It was made of Cheddar, Swiss, Smoked Gouda, Provolone, tomato and smoked bacon. It was awesome, and they didn't half step on the bacon! Big, Thick Juicy Pieces!  I love Bacon! I also order the Mac and  Cheese.  The portion was NICE!  You know me, do I have enough to take home?? YEP!  Real cheese with a crunchy bread crumb topping.  It is served in a aluminum tray, perfect for warming it back up in the oven!

Besides the waitress bringing your order, it is more like a self serve kind of place.  Make sure to grab your silverware, napkins and condiments before you take your seat to keep from getting back up.

The atmosphere is friendly and fun.  I would say the noise level was medium.  A few times we noticed ourselves getting a little rowdy but no one else did!  So you can definitely let your hair down and enjoy your company.

We will be back to check out the patio life when it is not raining!
